Hello all,
At the bitter request of my sister I'm updating my blog one last time before leaving for the Bahamas. But I can't really update because I need to hurry and finish up everything and say goodbye. So here is my hi! I'm really busy! But I'm thinking about all of you... Stay Tuned for the adventure of a lifetime!

One Week Left
Well.. here I sit. One week left before leaving to go to the Bahamas! I'm almost all packed. A few.. parcels, left to finish before giving out and the worst thing of all- one paper, leftover from last semester that needs to be quickly finished before handing over to the professor. I have high hopes of this trip, but I'm afraid to say I'm about to enter the worst week of my life. Saying goodbye to everyone who knows me, and rushing to make sure I have EVERYTHING I could possibly want for the next 3 and 1/2 months. Triple checking my baggage to make sure its not overweight and making sure I'm not forgetting to say goodbye to anyone, or anything. Meanwhile continueing to work, which I'm also beginning to think was a very bad idea. I just feel like there is so much I have to do and yet so very little time because I have a personal agenda of visiting friends and parties before I go.
Well I just thought I would pop in and see if anyone was reading this yet... I should get back to that long list I mentioned up there ;)
By the way... The picture = me in seven days :) But with Melanie instead of Aimee....

Brief Overview
Alright, I'm pretty new at this, so here is my first attempt at adding a picture in to this thing. So I sit here, with 29 more days before I am on a sweet plane to the bahamas where I will embark on a life changing experience. I don't think I could stress how extremely excited I am about the upcoming semester. Naturally there are a lot of people back home who I am going to sorely miss and I have no doubts that I will end up with a major case of homesickness. But the idea of not being home and being indpendent is quite nice. I eagerly look forward to sharing all of my experiences with you via this website. My only hope is that in some way this will keep me connected back home.
For the remainder of my time here in the good ole USA will be spent working my behind off earning the precious money that will fund all of my expenses while overseas. I just have to wait patiently for my visas and passport to come back. I'm about to order my books online to be delievered to my cabin on the ship as well as set up a few other minor details needed for my endeaveors.
For those of you that don't know me that well or recieved this web address from a friend or through searching. I'm about to embark on a 100 day long cruise going completely around the world visiting the poorest of nations. Although this isn't doesn't sound exciting to most people, I'm looking forward to getting out of New England and this country and really seeing the world. The countries included in this amazing itenirary include Puerto Rico, Brazil, South Africa, Mauritius, India, Malyasia, Singapore, Vietname, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Hawaii and landing in California. So sit back and enjoy the ride ;)
